Zauhnteen Jackson Obituary

Zauhnteen Adam-Vertel Jackson, affectionately known as The Dream, ZDawg, and Adam. passed away on Tuesday, May 21st., 2024. He was the partner of Tiojjia Evans.  

Zauhnteen was born in Harrisburg Pa. He was the son of Melvin Thomas and De'Vana Jackson. 

He attended Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  While there he excelled at football as a star running back, was a record breaker in Track and Field, and a  superb wrestler who won many awards and championships. 

Zauhnteen enjoyed working with his hands, which led him to carpentry and landscaping.

He was dedicated to the Lord at From the Heart Church Ministry (FTHCM) as an infant and was involved in the dance ministry until his family relocated to Wisconsin.

He enjoyed being a father, playing video games, watching the Discovery Channel and breeding animals of all kinds. He was like the animal whisperer.

Zauhnteen will be remembered for always forging his own path, his love and compassion for animals, his duties as a father and that unstoppable charisma and charm. He loved life and fatherhood.

He will also be remembered for being hilarious and family oriented. Zauhnteen loved his family, he loved to laugh and make others laugh. He also loved helping the elderly.

Zauhnteen is survived by his partner, Tiojjia Evans, 4 daughters, Lilah Jackson (9) Arianna Jackson 7) Samantha Jackson (5) and Ivory'Ana Jackson (1). His Mother, De'Vana Jackson, Father Melvin Thomas, brother, Zauhmier Jackson, sisters, Zy'Annah Thomas-Jackson, Z'Aeirah Thomas-Jackson. Two aunts, Mayliesha George (Ridge Moore) Nashelle Sewere (Tyrone) one great aunt, Regina Dunbar (Ronald) one uncle, Josh George, grandmother, Carolyn Stewart. grandfather, Nathan Jackson (Clarece). Pop Pop, Herbert George (Renee) and great grandmother Gloria Shaw, as well as a host of siblings, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his Great Grandmothers Estella Jackson (Nathaniel), and Lillian Williams. and a sister, MiCayla Thomas.
