Yvonne (Price) Long

Yvonne Price Long, age 78, passed away on December 12, 2024, at her home on Chestnut Street in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Yvonne was married to Robert Larry Price, sharing 12 wonderful years of marriage. Born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of James H. Long Sr. and Elizabeth R. Long. She was a proud graduate of Reading High School and later of Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, where she earned her qualifications as an LPN nurse. Yvonne worked passionately in the medical field before retiring from the Reading Hospital.

A woman of strong faith, she was an active member of a church organization in Philadelphia during her earlier years. Known for her warm heart and vibrant personality, Yvonne also cherished hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, writing books and drawing pictures. One thing was certain—Yvonne spoke her mind, a trait admired by those who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Price, her daughter, Myra D. Price, and three nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her.
