Thomas A. Zambito, Sr

Thomas A. Zambito, Sr., 61, passed away on May 20, 2026, at Reading Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Paula J. Zambito. Together they shared 27 years of love and companionship, including 18 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Joseph and Louise Zambito. He was a proud graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1984. Thomas dedicated 22 years of service as a maintenance worker at Kutztown Manor. He found joy in watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football teams and cherished spending time with his family. Thomas will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and his loving spirit.

He is survived by his wife, Paula J. Zambito; his four children, Christopher Smith of North Carolina, Thomas A. Zambito, Jr., Dylan Zambito, and Christina Cooper (Marcus), all of Pennsylvania; and his four granddaughters, Meleah, Malyannah, Mallorie, and Malani. He is also survived by his siblings, Joel and Rebecca Zambito, along with many other loving family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Zambito.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM at 419 Wunder Street, Reading, PA 19602. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paula Zambito, 1145 Weimer Street, Reading, PA 19602
