Thomas Earl Isaac I, aka Toddy Jack aged 79, passed away on 10/23/2023. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Toddy was born on 9/17/44 in Scranton SC. He lived and raised his family in Reading, PA where he spent his formative years. He became a laborer at Rachlin Furniture and then retired from the Garden State Tannery. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
But more than anything, Toddy was a devoted father. He loved spending time with his children, sharing stories, listening to music, cooking and watching their favorite TV westerns. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced. In his free time,Toddy enjoyed gardening, cooking for others and sharing his home, He was an active member of his Savannah Grove Baptist Church and the Fisherman’s Club before moving to Jacksonville FL.
Toddy is survived by his brother, Carl Henry Isaac, ex-Spouse Thelma Janette Randall, GA, Children John Edward Isaac, GA, Brian Keith Isaac, NJ, Thomasina Hardy, GA, John Henry Isaac, (Bianca) GA, ex-spouse Samueletta Isaac, children Tasha Lyn Isaac, Thomas Earl Isaac II (Erika Anderson) PA, and spouse Mary Isaac stepchildren Yazminda Saldana, Jazmai Powell FL and his grandchildren, Ajarah Isaac,Myorr, Shalom Isaac, Mattias Yeshua Isaac, Mupharoah Kyadai Isaac, Sereyla JaiLee Franklynn Steans, Dominique Terell Holmes, PA, Bianca Isaac, Savana Noni Isaac, James Hardy Jr, Thomas Isaiah Hardy, Aliloni J. Ash, Kennedy Isaac, Koby Isaac and Kory Isaac, Keynan Xavier Isaac Killeen, Tavia Eloni Isaac, Savaughn Sjohntel Pierce, Tamia Elizabeth Isaac, Tierra Elise Isaac, Yazmiàh Saldana Yo'VañiWilson, Jayden Powell, and Cameron Alexander.
He was preceded by his mother and father Idella and James Isaac, his sisters, Drucilla Flowers, Betty Isaac, Jessie Garvin, Agnes Metcalf and grandson Daiquan Unique Isaac. He will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Savannah Grove Baptist Church or Union Baptist Church.
