Sherry Ann Brown Moultrey

Sherry Ann (Brown) Moultrey departed this life, peacefully Sunday, June 6th, 2021. After a lengthy battle with multiple health issues with her family by her side.

Born in Reading to Hazel (Browan) Brown and the late Charles G. Brown Sr. Sherry worked proudly in the nursing profession. Working for Berks Heim, Manor Care, Schaefer Staffing, and last working at Spruce Manor.

She enjoyed all types of music but her favorite singer was Barry White. She enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo, and she loved casino trips. She was always baking and cooking. After she became sick she enjoyed word searches and her scratch off tickets.

Sherry leaves her mother Hazel Brown, brothers Charles Brown Jr, Frank Brown, and James Brown. Her two daughters Marlene Dawson, Yolanda Moultrey-Whyte(Peter). Grand Children Arlinda Justiano, Marlene(Missy) Wright, Kaylin Stephens, Myah Stephens, Julius Moultrey, Shawn-Lee Whyte, and Serena’Ann Whyte. 7 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends to cherish many memories. She touched the hearts of those that resides at her apartment building not only cooking and baking for them but lending a helping hand if she could. Her soul will be released to God on Saturday, June 19th, at 11 am. There will be a viewing at 10 am. The repass will be held after the service at The American  Legion at 237 North 3rd St. Reading, PA 19601.
