Obituary

Robert L. Lettsome, 66, passed away Friday July 7th 2023 at the Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center.  He was the husband of Letitia Lettsome.  They shared 5 years together, 2 years as newlyweds. 
Born in St. Thomas of the US Virgin Islands he was the son of James Lettsome and June Farmer.  He was raised in the Bronx Soundview Projects of New York.   After high school he joined the military.  With hard work and dedication he obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees.  He worked at Ashley’s Furniture warehouse as  a  shift supervisor. While his wife attended church on Sundays, Robert enjoyed reading the Word of God at home.  In addition to his love of reading, Robert enjoyed time with his grandkids, good music, food and movies.   He will be remembered for his love and special attention he gave to his wife Letitia.  
He is survived by his spouse Letitia, his daughter, Shalamar Brown.  Two brothers, Duane Taylor and Cordell Taylor,  1 nephew, two grandkids  Breonshae Wright and Zimere Hodge, and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.  
Funeral service will be Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Zion Baptist Church of Reading, 224 Washington Street, Reading, Pa. 19601 at 11:00 am.  Viewing will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service.
