Richard A Schaeffer

Richard A. Schaeffer, 61, passed away May 21, 2020 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Hospital. 

Born in Reading, Pa, he was the son of Lester M. Schaeffer Sr. and Stella I. Egan.  He graduated from Hamburg Area High School. He was employed at Rubright, as a foreman in construction and Pa. Dutch Camp Site as a groundskeeper.

He was a member of Camp Chilly Hunting Club in Tioga County.

Richard is survived by his sister, Phyllis (Schaeffer) Mertz of Mohnton; nieces, Teann (Mertz) Hartman of Mohnton, Cindy Schaeffer of Virginia Beach, Valerie Schaeffer of Center Port; nephews, Eric Mertz of Birdsboro, Robert Schaeffer of Virginia Beach, Jason Schaeffer of Bethel.  He was predeceased by his parents, Lester M. Schaeffer Sr. and Stella I. Egan; brothers, Lester M. Schaeffer Jr. and Ronald B. Schaeffer.
