Rajneesha Shanise Preston, aged 30 years, was called home to be with the Lord on July 25th, 2021. Rajneesha, daughter of Samuel Preston and Linda Preston, was born on June 1st, 1991, in Memphis, TN.
She was a graduate of Reading High School, attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Reading Area Community College. She obtained her license in real estate and was committed to helping families/individuals find their “forever home.” She was very business minded and an advocate for the empowerment of women. Rajneesha fought to overcome many obstacles in her life. Her growing success in her personal and professional life as a real estate agent served as an example to her friends and family that if you dream big enough, persevere in faith, forgive those that attempt to lead you astray, you can overcome any adversity.
She viewed trials and tribulations as an opportunity for growth and experience and welcomed the challenge. She enjoyed life and nothing brought her greater joy than her son Emerson. She loved to travel and sought to experience all life had to offer. She was never afraid to speak her mind or stand up for what she thought was right. She would take a passionate stance for what she believed in. Rajneesha’s faith in Jesus Christ was unbreakable and inspirational even in the darkest of times.
The people we encounter can either be a rose in your life or a thorn. Rajneesha was both. Her personality was infectious. At times she was hard to love, but she always left a warm, tender imprint on those who were close to her. Rajneesha Shanise Preston is survived by her son, Emerson James Hawley, her parents, her sister Angela and four brothers: Antonio, Samuel, Daniel, and Aaron Preston. Her paternal grandmother, Geraldine Preston, maternal grandmother Jerie Singleton, special grandfather Alton Singleton, one niece, three nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rajneesha will be forever remembered for the joy she brought to the lives of those who loved her. She will be missed and eternally loved.
The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and prayers during this time.
