Nereida Colon Reyes Pastoriza

Nereida Pastoriza, 79, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones. 

Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Juan Colon and Agripina Reyes. Nereida attended school in Puerto Rico. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and raising her six children.

Nereida was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Puerto Rico and Reading. She enjoyed attending church.   She will be remembered for her love and faith in God and her love of her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Hector, Richie, Betty and 6 grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Harris Funeral Home, 222 North Front St., Reading, PA.  Interment will be at the Charles Evans Cemetery at 3:00 pm. The viewing will be held from 12 o’clock noon until the time of service.  Memorial donations may be made to the family.
