Miguel Angel Rodriguez, a devoted family man and hard worker, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on September 19, 1950, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Miguel dedicated many years of his life to serving as a machine operator at Interstate Container, where his strong work ethic and commitment inspired those around him. Miguel is survived by his beloved spouse, Maria Rodriguez, his son David Rodriguez, his daughter K. Rodriguez, his son Miguel Rodriguez Jr., and his daughter Lillibeth Vargas. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Shamir, Savanna, Destiny, Kazylah, Kafeirah, Michael, Grace, and LaSandra. Miguel was known for his love of the outdoors, spending countless hours fishing and tending to his garden. His passion for cultivating plants, fruits, and vegetables flourished in his later years as he became an active volunteer at a community greenhouse. He took great joy in raising tilapia fish and assisting his neighbors in beautifying their surroundings with colorful flowers and plants. Miguel also instilled a love for fitness in the younger generation, encouraging them to remain active and healthy throughout their lives. An accomplished boxer in his youth, Miguel retired from the ring to focus on raising his family, where he created a warm and loving home. His memory will live on in the hearts of his surviving siblings, Nilda Fumuso, Maribel Bernier, and Ismael Rodriguez, as well as his sons-in-law, Efren Vargas and LaFone Brown.
