LaJa’De Patricia George

LaJa’De Patricia George, lovingly known as “Nimmer” or simply “The Nim,” passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 27, 2026, at the age of 27.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, on February 26, 1999, LaJa’De was raised in Cumru Township and was a proud graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. She had a beautiful spirit and a smile that could light up any room.

LaJa’De found great joy in watching Patrick Swayze movies, especially Road House. She was a devoted fan of Michael Jackson, and his music and videos never failed to bring a smile to her face—one that those who knew and loved her will cherish forever. She also loved wearing T-shirts and hoodies featuring her own picture, a reflection of her fun-loving personality and unique sense of style.

LaJa’De was the beloved daughter of Lawrence and Carla Berringer. In addition to her parents, she leaves behind her loving brothers, Stuart Berringer and Lucas Berringer; her sister, Taylor Berringer; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly and will miss her beyond measure.

Though her time with us was far too short, LaJa’De’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her laughter, her smile, and the love she shared will remain a treasured blessing to her family and friends forever.
