Kinatai Ellison

Kinatai Ellison, 48, passed away on Wednesday, July 5th 2023 at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pa. 
Kinatai was born in Reading, PA. She was the daughter of McCrae Boykins and Victoria Ellison. She graduated from Reading High School in 1993.
Kinatai will be remembered for her love of shopping.  She had many pairs of shoes.  She always kept up with her hair and nails.  Kina was a talker and jokester.  She was voted class clown in high school.  She had a good sense of humor and made everyone laugh.  Anytime you were around her you were sure to get a good laugh.  She loved being around family and friends.  She had a great heart.  Kinatai was kind and caring, everyone loved her. She was always proud of her children and their accomplishments in life.  She was an amazing grandmother and made sure everyone called each other for their birthdays.  She was raised in the church.  She was a CNA at Country Meadows and also worked at Sneaker Villa.  She relocated to Philadelphia in 2008 but frequently came back to Reading to visit her family and help where needed. Kinatai had 4 children. Shakiera, who lives in Florida. Chiante, Dashay and Aubrey Jr., all reside in Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her grandmother Maeola Ellison, 6 grandkids, Azai 10,  Amiya 8,  Nyla 6,  Amari 6,  Zuri 5 and Aubrey III 3.  She also has one brother Nasir, and four sisters Catherine, Tyisha and Nyisha, and Christina.
Funeral service will be held Friday July 14th 2023 at 11:00 am at the Harris Funeral Home,  222 N. Front Street, Reading, Pa. Interment will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park. 
Viewing will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service.
