Julio A. Mejia Sr., 89, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in his home at Reading, Pennsylvania. He was the loving husband of Antonia Fernandez and they shared a loving marriage for over 27 years.
Julio was born in Canñafisto Bani, Dominican Republic, on July 10, 1934 to his loving parents Rosa Julia Mejia Pimentel and Manuel de Regla Mejia.

A long life New York Yankee hard core fan, Julio would often be seen watching the Yankees play with family and friends. He enjoyed playing Dominoes, Parcheesi, Checkers and loved going to Sunken Meadow Beach with his loved ones in the summer.
Julio is survived by his loving wife, Antonia, and his loving children from his first marriage: Miguel Mejia, Julio Mejia Jr., and Gilda Mejia; and his loving brother: Rafael B. Mejia.
