Juan A. (Jr.) Gonzalez

Juan Antonio Gonzalez Jr, 54, passed away on January 18, 2023 in his home. He was the husband of Olga Gonzalez. They shared 27 years of marriage together.  

Born in Atlantic City, NJ. He was the son of Juan Antonio Gonzalez Sr & Francisca Torres. He attended both Atlantic City & Holy Spirit High Schools. He was employed at Reading Parking Authority as a parking enforcer and events parking manager. 

He belonged to St Peter the Apostle Church. He enjoyed long walks in the park with his green friends, spending time with his grandchildren, watching the Steelers play and hanging out at Tophers and the Forest Inn. (favorite things to drink were a Corona with lime and a double shot of Rumplemintz). He will be remembered for always loving his family and friends, being the protector, his jokes, having a great listening ear and giving the best advice. He had an extremely strong personality and always spoke his mind.

He is survived by his loving wife, Olga M Gonzalez, his children Jennifer Renae Speed, Justin Antonio Gonzalez, Julian Aries Gonzalez and JaiDynn Alexander Gonzalez and 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother and father. 

A viewing and memorial service will be held on January 23rd 2023 at 4pm at Harris Funeral Home, 222 N Front St, Reading PA 19601. The viewing will be held from 4-6pm to the time of service.
