Joseph J. Huss

Joseph J. Huss, age 63, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2024 at his home surrounded by his wife and children after his tough battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the husband of Kimberly Huss (Lees).

They shared 30 years of life together and were married for 23.

Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Betty (Keppel) and Harry Huss.

He graduated from JP McCaskey High School in Lancaster, Pa. He was employed at Giant Food Store in Pottsville, Pa and worked as a fuel attendant. He spent most of his life working in construction and as a lead electrician.

He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, working on computers and taking care of his high maintenance German Shepherd/Bloodhound dog Josie. He will always be remembered for being a very handy man, he was always able to fix anything from cars to computers. His wife will always miss hearing his voice every night telling her "sweet dreams angel, I love you" before he fell asleep.

He is survived by his wife Kimberly Huss, his step-children (that he loved as his own) Brittany Bair, Josiah Bair, Tiffany Arline and Michael See, who was just like a son to him. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren Dominick, Aaliyah and PJ, his 2 brothers David and Harry and his wife Kathy and their 2 children Allison and Linda. He was predeceased by his parents Betty and Harry and his son Patrick.

The memorial service will be held on February 8th, 2025 at 2pm with close family and friends at Kimberly's home in Harrisburg, Pa.
