Joe Harvey, Jr

On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, Joe Harvey Jr., at the ripe age of 85 years young, transitioned from the comfort of his home, 731 Ave. B, Reading, PA 19601, into the afterlife.

Joe was born on April 25, 1938, in Americus, GA to the late Joe F. and Minnie Harvey. He is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth “Doll” Eaddy Harvey and will finally rest beside her.

Joe was employed by Reading Hospital for 12 years and Dana Paris Division for 12 years.

He leaves to cherish in his memories two sons, Joel Harvey and Frank Eaddy Sr. (Jacqueline), two daughters, Marsha Eaddy and Roschelle Harris (George), all of Reading. He is survived by two sisters, Alley Harvey and Fannie Harvey and one brother, Rufus Harvey, granddaughter, Bonnita Ryle (Raymond) and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by one daughter, Lueanice “Ann” Eaddy; one sister, Kate Harvey and two brothers, Johnny Lee Harvey and Shelton Harvey.
