Jill T. Matetich

Jill Therese Matetich, 54, of West Lawn passed away peacefully at home on July 17, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones and the sound of her favorite music. Jill is survived by her brother, Todd Woomer, and an extended family. She was born in Reading on December 10, 1966, a daughter of the late Karla (Schuppert) Kidon and John Kidon. Jill graduated from Reading High School and Bryland Beauty School. She worked as a hairdresser for all of her life and owned Beverly’s Beauty Salon. Her passion for her craft was evident in her stylish red hair and the way she treated each customer as a close friend. She was known for her quick wit and laid-back demeanor. In addition, Jill found great joy in music, shopping, napping, and most importantly her beloved Pekingese, Sarah. Jill is survived by many friends and family, all of whom were a constant in her life. On behalf of the family, thank you to everyone who helped fill Jill’s last few months with great company, stories, love, and laughter. In order to honor Jill’s wishes no services are being held.
