Jazavier Michael Phelps-Hines, 19, of Reading, Pa., passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Lannie Hines and (late)Tylyn Marie Phelps.
Jazavier attended Montessori Country Day School, until the 8th grade and went on to graduate in June 2024 from The Janus School. After graduating, Jazavier was doing an Internship at Homestead Village Senior Living in Lancaster.
Jazavier attended the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where he sang in the Youth Choir and attended Youth Fellowship services.
Jazavier was a talented young man; he loved music, singing, writing, and karate where he got high levels of belts. He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and his love for Marvel Characters; he loved traveling with his mom (Elena). He had nothing but LOVE for his family and friends.
Jazavier leaves to cherish loving memories of his Grandparents who raised him like their son, Michael Phelps (Dad) and Elena Alameda (Mom), Grandmother Judith Brison, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, great grandparents, Deacon Ellis and Freddie Copeland, and Luereen Phelps.
