James L. Gibson

James Leonard Gibson, “Jimi” of Reading, passed away April 15, 2024 at the West Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Jean Claytor. They shared 28 years of marriage.

He was a graduate of Reading High School in 1971. He continued his education at the York Academy of Arts in 1973.

Jimi leaves to mourn, his wife Jean Gibson, three sisters, Anna E., Cheryl E. and Roberta (Bunny) E. Gibson and brother Barry L. Gibson. 

Jimi was pre-deceased by his parents, Dorothy E. (Smith) and Warren J. Gibson, Jr., his sister, Sarah Ann (Gibson) wife of Jeremiah Stewart and brother, Daniel T. Gibson, grandparents, Sarah (Ruffin) and Daniel Jackson. Anna E. (Bannister) and Warren J. Gibson, Sr., and James R. Smith.
