Jack A. Piechota passed away suddenly on Tuesday October 8th, 2024 in Reading Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones due to several health complications.
He was born in Pottstown, PA and was a son of the late Edward Piechota and the late Victoria (Adamski) Piechota.
Jack was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School.
He was a precious employee of C+W Mechanical as a general laborer, John Middleton Tobacco producing cigars, and Ridge Restaurant doing food prep and dishwashing. Jack lastly worked at the Olde Gold cooking and bartending.
Jack enjoyed reading true crime, lottery tickets, fishing and family time especially with his daughters and grandchildren who were his pride and joy.
He was a practicing Christian who always will be remembered going anywhere and always running into someone who knew him. Jack had a funny sense of humor, told great stories, gave the best hugs and would have given the shirt off his back to anyone. He will be greatly missed by many.
Jack was proceeded in death by his sister, Victoria and brother, Robert. He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Sheptock (Stephen); Erin Stauffer (Eric) and grandchildren Alexis, Aiden, Tanner and Callie. Jack is also survived by his siblings, Patricia Eltz, Sandra Brazier, Josephine Schaeffer, Sue Rogers, Joseph Piechota and Edward Piechota.
Arrangements are made by the Harris Funeral Home at 222 N. Front Street, Reading PA 19601.
A private memorial service to reminisce and celebrate Jack’s life will be held by his immediate family.
