Gladys Esther Galindez

Gladys Esther Galindez, 83, passed away on September 26, 2024 in her home surrounded by family. 

  Gladys was born on June 3, 1941 in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. She was the daughter of America Campos and Jose Galindez. She retired from the Department of Social Services in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. 

  Gladys enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, and sewing. She will be remembered for her fearless personality, feisty attitude, and her immense care for everyone around her. 

  She is survived by her son Juan, (61) daughter Gladys (49), four grandchildren, Malvin, Mariel, Daquana and Natalia. Along with four great grandchildren Arianna, Jaleesa, Juliana, and Drew. She is also survived by her four siblings Haydee, Jose Jr, Luz, and Miguel. She was predeceased by her parents America and Jose, and her brother Hector. Memorial service will be announced at a later time.
