Edwin Ruiz Rivera

Edwin Ruiz Rivera, 51, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the West Reading Hospital.  He was the husband of Aurea Aviles Rosa. They shared 34 years of marriage.
Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Humberto Ruiz Marti and Enoelia Rivera.  

Edwin enjoyed fishing and playing dominoes. He will be remembered for being a great father, a loving grandfather, and a very caring and loving husband.
He is survived by his spouse, three children and seven grandchildren.

A viewing and funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 26 at 5:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home, 222 North Front St., Reading, PA.  Another service will be held in his hometown of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico at the Funeraria Montehiedra. (787)832-3900.
