Obituary

Dr. Basil Yearwood Scott, 98, passed away on March 10, 2023, after a full life. Preceded into death by his wife Luna, Basil is survived by a son and daughter and a granddaughter, and will be remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched.

Dr. Scott worked in the NY State DMV for many years before becoming VP of Finance at Kutztown University. He served on the boards of Alvenia, Concern and the Red Cross and was active in his community, wherever he happened to be, all his days. He and his spouse loved to travel.
