Donna Paredes Obituary

Donna M. Paredes 71, passed away on January 21, 2022, at the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Edward Paredes. They have been wonderfully married for 44 years.
Donna was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Edward and Margaret Rupp. She attended Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (PSD) in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She was a Berks Deaf and Hard of Hearing (BDDH) member. Donna loved camping and taking trips with her husband when they were younger. She loved talking with her friends on her video phone (VP); she also liked to knit and crochet just like her mom did. She loved pug dogs. Donna will be remembered for her kind and loving heart. She was always willing to help someone. I will miss not holding her hand as we sat towards the end of the night. Donna's niece Tina and her husband Brian will miss her laugh when Donna would call her on the VP, and they would tease her. She loved when they would visit her and just laugh.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Paredes. One sister, Rosemary Rupp, and one brother, Ed Rupp (Butch).

Donna never had children but would always tell us how she helped raise her niece Tina. She was like her daughter and would always show me pictures of them when she was a baby. All the children and babies in the family loved Donna.
The funeral service is private.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. She will be missed so much!
