Diamond Roselee Fries

Diamond Roselee Fries, 36, passed away May 5, 2023, at Saint Joseph Hospital after a long battle with Lupus. She was the partner of Derik Latshaw. Born in Morgantown, she was the daughter of Frank (Duke) Fries Jr., and the late Donna Fries (Sisak). She attended Twin Valley High School, and enjoyed time with her family, her many pets, rock collecting, stargazing and fishing. Her free spirit reminded everyone of a hippie born 20 years too late. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Joann (Grammy) and Frank Fries, Sr., and Leann (Nan-Nan) and George Sisak and Uncle Larry Sisak. 

She is survived by her two children, daughter Haley, and son, Dylan Minnich. Her brothers, Doug and his wife, Robyn Fries, and Derek Fries and her sister Samantha Baus. 

A private celebration of her life by her family will be held at a later date.
