Curtis R. Rauch, 75, passed away on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 at his home.
Born in Saluda, SC., he was the son of Felix Rauch and Annie B. (Gibson) Rauch, both predeceased. He attended Riverside High School.
He was employed at Deka for 28 years and worked as a Machine Operator.
Curtis was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. He enjoyed Football (avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan), Basketball, and being the life of the party while spending time with his family.
Curtis will be remembered for his love for people (advocate with/for the Black Panther Party - a Soldier), a plethora of wisdom, his unmatched style, being a father figure to many, his directness, integrity (a man of his word). Wherever he went he left his footprints.
He's survived by his daughter Cynthia Daniels. Grandson Jarrel L. Daniels and his significant other Kyeisha S. Purnell. Granddaughter Lashonda T. Daniels. Great Grand Children Zyaire K. Daniels, Zenaida F. Daniels, Zanique S. Daniels, and Zion J. Daniels.
He is also survived by his brother, Larry D. Rauch and wife Julia Rauch. Sisters Lois Bailey and husband Arthur Bailey, Irene Green as well as a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Felix Rauch Jr., and Calvin Rauch. Sisters, Della Gallmon and Bertha L. White and Brother in law Matthew Green Sr.
His viewing will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home, 222 N. Front Street, Reading, PA., 19601 with the repass at the American Legion, 237 N. 3rd Street from 5:00 PM - 10 PM.
