Cody Rico Brown of Sinking Spring, PA, a devoted son and Believer, passed away on June 3, 2022.
Born February 3, 1991, he was the son of Clarence Brown Sr. and Ruby A. Brown.
Cody received his high school diploma from PA Cyber Charter High School in 2009 and also attended Reading Area Community College. Cody worked as a welder at Reading Truck Body and held various positions such as Ship Dock Loader and Warehouse positions.
Cody held a third degree brown belt in karate. He also played the cello and the saxophone. He played sports such as soccer, baseball, swimming and football. One of his favorite past times was listening to music. He also loved cars.
Cody was baptized into the body of Christ at a very young age and attended several churches throughout the years, landing at Spring Valley Church of God after relocating to Berks County, PA. He loved deep conversations about the Bible and loved how the Bible translated into real life.
Cody was adamant in defending the Faith. He knew the power of prayer and in his struggles he believed in bringing everything to the throne of grace.
Cody is survived by his father Clarence Brown, Sr.; his mother Ruby A. Brown; his grandmother Mable James; his grandfather Leslie Beauchamp; his brother Clarence Brown, Jr. (and his wife Katherine); his sister Alisha Ajayi (and her husband Oyeyemi); his sister Ashly Buchanon; his nieces Aliza Brown, Lyla Mable Brown, Sarah Ajayi, and Kaylani Buchanon. Cody is also survived by his nephews Josiah Brown and Samuel Ajayi; and a beloved host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cody was predeceased by his grandparents Valmond Brown, Sr. and Edna Brown; his grandfather Johnny James; his cousin Valmond Brown III; and his brother-in-law Bernard Buchanon.
