Christopher John Bernard Williams Sr., born on February 4, 1968 to the late Sherril V. Williams and the late Kenneth Jones in Reading, Pa., passed away on October 27, 2025.
Chris was a proud husband, father, and friend, who was known for his work ethic, loyalty, and strong-willed personality. He could be as stubborn as they come, but that was part of his charm. Underneath that tough, no-nonsense exterior was a soft-hearted man who loved deeply and showed it in his own way.
A lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Chris took great joy in cheering for his team with his boys every season. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family, creating memories through shared meals and laughter.
Chris is survived by his wife, Tabatha; his children, Christopher (CJ), Tony, Adrian, Damon, and Treyvon; his siblings, Majalettah, Ra-allahie, Jason, and Renee; and his grandchildren, JJ, Darius, Tyson, Leila, Aidan, Norah, and Jordan. He is predeceased by his sister Monique Williams.
A service commemorating Chris’s life will be held on Saturday, November 8, at 9:00 AM, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 436 South 7th Street, Reading PA 19602, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate his life and the impact he leaves behind.
