Carmen Amelia Osorio Rodriguez

Carmen Amelia Osorio Rodríguez, de 82 años, de Reading, Pensilvania, entró en reposo eterno el sábado 6 de septiembre de 2025, en el West Reading Hospital.

Una devota sierva de Cristo y una amiga leal, Carmen trajo luz, risa y fe a todos los que la conocieron. Nacida en San Juan, Puerto Rico, era la querida hija del difunto Rafael Osorio y Alicia Rodríguez.

Después de graduarse de la escuela secundaria, Carmen dedicó su vida al servicio, trabajando como secretaria de la iglesia y participando en misiones de todo el mundo. Era una miembro fiel de su iglesia local, donde su calidez, humor y amor inquebrantable dejaron un impacto eterno. Para muchos, Carmen era más que una amiga, era de la familia.

Ella será profundamente extrañada por su comunidad de la iglesia y las innumerables vidas que tocó a lo largo de su viaje.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el viernes 19 de septiembre de 2025 a las 11:00 a.m. en Harris Funeral Home, 222 North Front Street, Reading, PA. Una visita precederá al servicio desde las 10:00 a.m. hasta la hora del servicio. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Laureldale.

Aunque se haya ido de nuestra vista, el recuerdo de Carmen vivirá en cada historia compartida, en cada eco de su risa y en los corazones de todos los que la amaron.

Carmen Amelia Osorio Rodriguez, 82, of Reading, Pennsylvania, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at West Reading Hospital.

A devoted servant of Christ and a loyal friend, Carmen brought light, laughter, and faith to all who knew her. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was the beloved daughter of the late Rafael Osorio and Alicia Rodriguez.

After graduating from high school, Carmen dedicated her life to service, working as a church secretary and participating in missions work across the world. She was a faithful member of her local church, where her warmth, humor, and unwavering love left an everlasting impact. To many, Carmen was more than a friend—she was family.

She will be deeply missed by her church community and the countless lives she touched throughout her journey.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Harris Funeral Home, 222 North Front Street, Reading, PA. A viewing will precede the service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Laureldale Cemetery.

Though gone from our sight, Carmen’s memory will live on in every shared story, every echo of her laughter, and in the hearts of all who loved her.
