Beverly “Ann” Godbolt was born in Mullins South Carolina on September 17, 1957 to Generette and Betty Godbolt. Beverly was pre-deceased by her father in 1962. The family moved from South Carolina to Brooklyn N.Y. in 1966 and then to Reading, Pa in 1973. Beverly graduated from Job Corp in 1980 and would settle in the field of health care working as a nurse’s aide at several area nursing homes. Beverly last worked at Wyomissing Lodge in 2000.
Beverly never had children but treated all of her nephews as her own. If your child had a runny nose or dirty ears she was going to let you know. She loved to give out nick names and if you were fortunate enough it would stick with you your entire life.
Beverly suffered through years of declining health but she was always grateful. She made the best of it. She found a church that would come to her home or pray with her over the phone. She loved to entertain and would have get togethers at her house, where we all piled in. Beverly loved being around people and loved her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory mother Betty Hickson, Reading; Step-Father Bobby Hickson; Aunt’s: Geraldine Hudson, New York; Dorthy Hayes, S. Carolina, Gladys Reaves, S.
