Anna S. Prince

Anna S. Prince, 77 years old passed away on May 6, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family.  
Born on February 24, 1946 in Rawlings, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Gertrude Phillips.  
Anna was a woman of God and long-time member of Zion Baptist Church, participating in many ministries. She enjoyed music, gardening, and gathering with family and friends. Anna had a heart for service and worked for many years as a foster parent and caregiver to the disabled. Her upbeat spirit and cheerful smile will be missed by many.  
Anna is survived by her children: Gerald Phillips, Kenneth Stroman, Linda Rimes, Pharoah Smith, Derrick Smith, and Jacoby Smith. She also leaves behind two brothers, Raynell and Jeff Jones as well as 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as a host of cousins and nieces. Anna was predeceased by her loving sister Lynetta Jones.  
Services will be held Friday May 12, 2023 at Zion Baptist Church located at 224 Washington Street, Reading, PA 19601. Viewing from 9-11am with funeral service immediately following.
