Andrew “Andy” Wesley Pinkett, 95, of Reading, PA., passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019, at the West Reading Hospital. He was the son of the late Robert and Blanche Pinkett and the husband of Alberta (Bert) N. Burke.
He graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1944. He was known as a “smooth dresser” and always had a smile to share.
Andrew was a World War II veteran (US Navy). He enlisted while he was still in high school.
Andrew was a loving husband and devoted father and was always ready and willing to help someone in need. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bertha Naomi Burke, one daughter; Leslye Pinkett Martin (Lani) of Hawaii, one brother, James Leon Inloes, one sister, Ida Inez Inloes, one grandson, Joao Morales and a host of nieces and nephews.,His life will be celebrated, Friday, September 6, 2019, at the Harris Funeral Home, 222 N. Front Street, Reading, PA., 19601.
Burial will be at the Burks County Memorial Garden.
