On April 26, 1946, there was a wonderful occurrence in the City of Reading, Pennsylvania, the birth of Patricia A. Butler to Ruby Catharine Martin. Patricia was presented to the world to bring joy, laughter, and hope to all whom she encountered. With God’s grace and family guidance, Patricia developed into a young lady of integrity and distinction. An intellectually astute woman, In 1964, Patricia graduate of Farrell High School.
Patricia loved shopping, shoes, handbags, purses and coffee. Patricia A. Butler will be remembered as a proud matriarch with a generous heart, brilliant smile, and zest for life. Her loving and nurturing influence radiates in the lives of everyone she touched; family, friends, neighbors, and strangers alike.
Surviving to cherish her loving memory are her son Maurice Butler, of Reading, daughter Stacey Green, of Las Vegas, also survived by two sisters, Dolly Tames, Amenta Williams, both of Reading, Pa, brother, John Burton, Jr., of Miami, Fl, 10 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews and cousins.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at St. James Chapel Church of God in Christ, 1 S 9th Street, Reading, Pa. 19602, with Pastor Dean Faulkner presiding. Viewing will be from 9-11:00. Ministry of Comfort is entrusted to Harris Funeral Home, 222 N. Front Street, Reading, Pa 19601
