Michael James Misiaszek, 70, went to his heavenly home on January 17, 2019. His devotion was to his family and friends. His firm belief in God supported his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Michael was born to the late Alexandra and Carolyn Misiaszek in Reading, Pennsylvania on July 22, 1948.
Michael was survived by his wife of 8 years Nora (Burnett).
2 brothers John (Kathy) of Pittsburgh, PA and Peter (Lyn) of Maryland. 2 sons, Bartholomew, and Eric (Bonnie), 2 daughters, Cadence and Susannah. 1 aunt of Reading Pa and 2 grandchildren.
Michael was a very active member of the First Century Worship Center where he served as a Sunday School teacher, in the music ministry and was a minister of the Gospel. In 2017, he traveled to Haiti on a mission trip with his wife.
Michael was a retired painter by trade.
He was a writer and lover of music and ministered to many on his guitar and has six CDs.
Michael is a veteran of the Vietnam War where he received many decorations including two bronze stars.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 436 S. 7th Street with Pastor J. Williams officiating.
Viewing 8-10 am.
Funeral Service 10 am.
Burial will be in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville Pa with full military honors at 2:30 pm.
