Frank Dolaman , 92, of 325 North Front St., Reading, PA., passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018, in the Reading Hospital.
He was born on November 16, 1925, in Seale, Alabama (Russel County). He was the son of the late Frank Doleman and Carrie (Wright) Doleman. He was a loving husband of Bertha Dolaman for 60 years who preceded him in death.
Prior to retirement, he worked for Eshbach Brothers Construction Company for over 40 years. After retiring in 2006, he spent the next 10 years working part-time with various auto dealerships in the Reading area.
Frank was a faithful member of Saint John Missionary Baptist Church in Reading where he served as past chairman of the trustee board, men’s choir and member of the Men of Honor scholarship fund committee. He also was a member of the Masonic Victor Lodge #73 Prince Hall affiliated organization and a member of the local Elks Berks Lodge #47 IBPEOW.
He loved deep-sea fishing, bowling, gardening, and hunting.
He leaves to mourn his passing, 3 children, Wayne Dolaman (Kathy) of Pittsburgh Pa., Wendy (Dolaman) Edwards of Bethlehem, Pa., and Warren Dolaman (Bonita) of Reading, Pa.
Other survivors include, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services to celebrate Franks life will be held Friday at 11 AM in St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 436 S. 7th St., Reading, with the Rev. Jerry Jones, Pastor, officiating.
Viewing begins at 10 AM.
Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
